Job description / Role
The Senior Internal Auditor for Operations will perform risk based and process alignment audit activity within the operational areas of the refinery site at the worlds largest LNG producing company. They will assimilate the practices and processes followed and align this to the actual activities seen and generate a internal audit findings report that is presented to the Chief Internal Auditor to review and evaluate.
Requirements
• BSc. (preference for degree in Engineering), Professional Engineering qualification, Project Management Professional, Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors
• Extensive experience in internal audit in the Oil & Gas Industry, with proven ability / track record of success
• Familiar with risk based auditing process and ability to plan, develop audit programs, perform fieldwork, to deliver high quality audits results and reports
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to deal with Management / staff at all levels
• Knowledge/experience of business practices, oil & gas operations, engineering including asset integrity and reliability, maintenance, contracting/project management and HSE
• Detailed understanding of Oil & Gas measurement and production processes, process controls including DCS, Fire & Gas and Emergency Shutdown systems.
• Working knowledge of maintenance module in SAP system.
• High level report writing and presentation skills
