Senior Investment Analyst

Job description / Role

- To prepare investment reports, monitor and analyze the company investment portfolio.
- To Perform capital budgeting, including conducting scenario analysis for new projects, developing financial/investment models for various projects and potential investments, calculating IRR, NPV and make recommendations.
- To Support M&A and various corporate finance transactions and perform due diligence tasks and familiar with legal agreements.
- To analyze inherent risks of single and portfolio investments and prepare relevant regular reports.
- To analyze the financial information publically available and interpret the economic conditions, industry trends, company financials, and business and regulatory environment.
- To analyze funds proposed to the company and make recommendations.
- To recommend switches and or divestments from existing investment holdings
- To Support management in establishing risk management strategies.

Requirements

- An international MBA degree or equivalent and/or professional certifications i.e. CFA, CPA or CMA
- 8 years experience in Investment and Market Risk environment
- High degree of knowledge of Investment Products
- Ability to work in high pressure environment
- High level of attention to detail.
- Technologically competent (world, Excel, Power Point)
- Creative and innovative skills
- Analytical skills and Trend spotting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and/or Arabic
- Teamwork spirit
- Preferably Arab National
