Senior Java Developer

Job description / Role

A key client of ours which is located in the UAE is actively looking for a java developer to join their team in their Dubai office as soon as possible.

The main responsibility is the development and testing of bespoke web & mobile applications focused on automation. Other responsibilities will include:

Review current systems.
- Present ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals.
- Produce detailed specifications and writing the program codes.
- Test the products in controlled, real situations before going live.
- Prepare training manuals for users.
- Be able to demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, balancing priorities and workload and the ability to work independently.
- Promote a team environment.
- Display flexibility and respond to change.

Requirements

The candidate is required to have extensive experience in a similar role. He must have experience using:
- JavaScript
- GUI
- HTML5
- JSON
- XML
- SQL
- REST
- jQuery
- Relevant Computing qualification or degree is a must.

Any experience with, or knowledge of, Appery.io would be beneficial.
