The Senior Chemistry Lab Tech at Halliburton performs assigned duties according to the chemical hygiene plan and current safety standards. Following prescribed safety rules and regulations, assist lower-level technicians in this area, and performs routine duties to conduct laboratory tests, and operates the laboratory or other equipment such as pumps and rig equipment as required to execute assigned tasks. May also repair, calibrate and provide general maintenance on tools and equipment.

Requirements for this job include 8 hours of college chemistry (preferred) and 5 years of related laboratory testing experience.

Requirements

Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or science related discipline preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in laboratory testing.
