Job description / Role
A Leading Construction Company specialized in Roads and Infrastructure projects is currently looking for a Senior Land Surveyor with the following responsibilities:
- Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
- Verifying the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Directing or conducting surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
- Recording the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
- Calculating heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.
- Supervising the preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Advanced degree in Land Surveying.
- Minimum 7 years of work experience in roads and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of surveying instruments like (Total station, digital mapping, GBS, laser measuring system and CAD programs)
