The RoleThe RoleParsons International are currently seeking a Senior Landscape Architect for one of the largest mixed use mega projects in the region. The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of difficult landscape architectural assignments by applying architectural design standards, practices, and techniques. The incumbent at this level is a fully-qualified Landscape Architect who is proficient in developing creative architectural solutions. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages consultant deliverables per clients schedule Reviews proposed hardscape/softscape and materials for local compliance, quality and suitability to local conditions Ensures designs and drawings are compliant with municipal standards and client requirements. Ensure designs/deliverables compliant with scope of work and contract requirements, QA/QC design deliverables for completeness, utilities coordination, clash analysis and constuctability Submit and track comments, queries, technical clarifications, etc Review materials samples, shop drawings, performance designs for compliance with specifications Construction tender analysis, technical evaluations Write reports and presentations for client |
RequirementsRequirementsThe Ideal candidate will have experience working in a landscape architectural design consultancy and/or for a developer, municipality, etc, as well as having previous experience on international waterfront, public realm, resorts, commercial and mixed use projects Project management and documentation experience, as well as being familiar with all phases of design tender documentation, production, reports, and submittals are also required for this role. Candidates are preferred to have experience in landscape engineering/site supervision. Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent) is required with 12 years+ of relevant experience. Concept, detailed design and tender document preparation Ability to manage design and specialists consultants Strong experience/grasp of landscape architectural project management process Extensive knowledge of local/regional methods and materials for construction Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Acad, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Primavera. |
