Job description / Role
My client is a leading Gulf Developer with one of the world best residential and hospitality portfolios. They have a reputation for developing some of the regions highest quality projects and have a pipeline of over 30 projects to be delivered in the next 3 years. Their success has come from both the full utilisation of their in house design teams and their excellent management of external consultancies. As part of their aim to further increase their in house design capabilities, they are looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join there already prominent Landscape Architecture team based out of Dubai.
Responsibility
- Be responsible for the successful design and technical delivery of a wide range of diverse projects including the presentation of landscape designs to client;
- Have (as preference) experience working in UAE;
- Have experience maintaining and growing existing client relationships, and be able to identify future opportunities in line with business objectives;
- Have excellent client facing service and project management skills;
- Have proven experience in the preparation of landscape proposals and tenders;
- Be able to actively and positively contribute to the overall management of other junior team members on a daily basis;
- Have some exposure and experience in and financial awareness and management of project design and bidding for new works.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (I.e. Landscape Architecture)
- Proven skills in landscape design and landscape planning at least 10 years experience
- Ability in preparing well written and presented reports
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Evidence of good financial acumen in completing landscape projects within set timescales
- IT literate with good working experience of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Office
- A good working knowledge of SketchUp is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with BIM would also be beneficial
