Senior Landscape Design / Graphics Technician

Due to our ongoing expansion a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Landscape Design/Graphics Technician to be based in our office in Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities:
- Plan and organise own work and work of junior support staff for production of accurate high quality plans, tracing and drawings landscape designs, layouts and installations from sketches, plans or other information using computer aided drawing equipment.
- Track, record and report flow of information throughout design development process.
- Completion of tasks assigned by Landscape Architects
- Production and coordination of technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Ability to compile and coordinate AutoCAD Landscape Packages from Concept Design to Tender Drawings
- Production of Landscape Presentations using Adobe Suite
- Preparation of sketches & ilustrations
- Adherence to Atkins CAD Manual and Atkins Quality Assurance Manual and Procedures
- Coordination with other design disciplines
- Production of high quality artwork and finished graphics work for presentation including 3D Visualisation.
- Attend user group meetings and other formal or informal training sessions.
- Any other duties as agreed between the post-holder and management.

Requirements

Essential:
Demonstrable technical competencies working with:
Autodesk - AutoCad 2014
Sketch Up
V-Ray
Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Microsoft Office Suite

Desirable:
Landscape Architecture and/or Architecture Diploma and/or Degree
Freehand Drawing Skills
3D Studio Max
Requirements Behavioural competencies

Essential:
Previous work experience within a Landscape Architecture Team
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability for self checking & correction of work
Very good interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone
Must have good English written and oral communication skills
Must work well in large teams with staff members of all backgrounds and skill levels

Desirable:
Experience working and coordinating with remotely located team members
Previous work experience within a QA/QC environment
