Senior Legal Advisor – Commercial
A market leading multinational firm is looking to hire a Commercial and Legal Manager. This is a stand alone position based in Dubai, their Middle Eastern Headquarters.
You will advise on draft contracts and tender agreements. In addition to the office based work you will also be required to attend key Client meetings with the senior management team in order to assist in the negotiation process. This position exists to maximize the revenues on all contracts through investigating areas of potential loss for the Company. You would also be required to train the senior management team and sales force on best practice for negotiating contracts.
Although you will be based in Dubai you would be required to advise on contracts across the GCC, in particular in Iraq.
Key Responsibilities:
Review Ts & Cs and all draft contracts and tenders
Advise and maintain all insurance policies
Accompany the senior management on meetings to negotiate contracts
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Legally qualified (LPC) with at least 3 years PQE within a Western qualified jurisdiction
Excellent communication skills
Experienced at reviewing and drafting contracts
Commercial background
Strong negotiation skills
Industry experience – although it would help to come from an Oil & Gas or Heavy Industry background it is not a must
Multinational experience
