The RoleThe RoleOur client is a regional private practice firm who are currently searching to recruit Senior Legal Advisor. This position will be based in Bahrain and will be focusing on the construction sector. Responsibilities Lead and manage the company’s Legal & Compliance department. Provide legal advice, guidance and services to various department heads of the company. Lead and develop the legal function for the business, through recruiting a highly qualified team of legal professionals and support staff. Recommend, select and employ an external legal counsel. Develop, monitor and implement compliance programs to ensure the company complies with laws and government regulations. Represent the company in all legal disputes and proceedings. Provide inputs and advice on contracts, negotiations and legal agreements that the organisation may engage on an adhoc basis. Prepare all contracts and agreements as per company requirement. Study and advise on all property and land related documents and deeds. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe ideal candidates will possess a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Law from a reputable university. Must possess a minimum of 5 – 10 years experience in legal roles, from within the construction and development industry. Must carry vast experience in Bahraini Commercial law and legal issues related to construction sector. You will need to posses strong negotiation skills and have solid experience of dealing with contracts. Must be very strong analytically and carry excellent communication skills.
