Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

•Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses.
•Analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
•Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuit.
•Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
•Advise concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
•Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
•Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
•Confer with colleagues with specialties in appropriate areas of legal issue to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings.
•Supervise legal assistants.
•Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
•Prepare legal briefs, opinions and various legal documents.

•Active Learning: Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

Knowledge:

•Law and Government: Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.
•Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
•Clerical: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

Experience:

•Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Lawyer
•UAE experience is a MUST
•Fluent Arabic and English communication. French an advantage.
•Preferred : Member of a BAR

Education:

•Law University graduate
