Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Under the direction of the Section Head to plan and supervise the provision of assistance in the preparation and provision of Contracts and related documents from tender stage to termination of Contract, during the performance of works, and subsequent extensions, amendments and variations, in accordance with approved company policies and procedures, including the development of standard/non standard Company contracts and provision of assistance to the tenders process, to ensure the companys interests are protected.

Requirements

- Plans and supervises all contracts administration affairs activities. Carries out supervisory duties at the level established by the management for the position.
- Work with Contract, Procurement and Logistic Department, under direct instructions of Section Head, to achieve Companys contractual and business goals. Preparing drafts of contracts, letters or award to successful tender and letters of regret to unsuccessful tenders, in accordance with approved policy and procedures, and submit them to Contract, Procurement and Logistic Department for processing.
- Provides advice to managers on requirements for tender calls and answer to enquiries regarding Company contracts, including advising Contract, Procurement and Logistic Department on contractual rights and obligations.
- Assists Departments and Tenders Committee in the ongoing administration of existing and new contracts for supply, services, rental and other related matters. Receives contract packages back with Departments reviews, comments and incorporates comments into contracts and packages, and finally endorse contracts prior to signature.
- Participates in the negotiations of contracts with prospective bidders at the request of legal manager
- Assists in the activities of the tender committee. Provide advice on the development of committee procedures. Advises members/users on the requirements of the tender process and attends committee meetings, as an advisor, to provide comments or advice during deliberations and decisions.
- Carries out and/or supervises other similar or related duties, including participating in general meetings to discuss legal or contractual issues.
- Assists in the development of format contracts pursuant Companys operational policies and procedures to be used by Contract, Procurement and Logistic Department or the user Department, as a basis for preparing contracts.
- Other duties assigned by the Legal Manager.
