Created from the integration of three companies - Oman Refineries and Petrochemicals Company LLC (ORPC), Aromatics Oman LLC (AOL) and Oman Polypropylene (OPP) - Orpic is one of Oman`s largest companies and is one of the most rapidly growing businesses in the Middle East`s oil industry.

We are pleased to announce the following vacancy;

Senior Lifting Scheduler (Senior Logistics Scheduling)

Role holders will manage a small team of professional staff and lead them in achieving revenue targets and providing logistical services that meets customer/ clients expectations. They manage relationships with customers and senior internal stakeholders.

Recommend and provide assistance in the development of SCM policies, strategies, standards and processes in order to improve and streamline SCM operations.

Represent SCM in meetings and business transactions with external institutions in order to protect and share the interest of ORPIC SCM.

Conduct complex and multifaceted study and analysis of market trends, new products, initiatives etc in order to develop the necessary plan and approach for SCM

Represent SCM across the ORPIC organization in order to share the concerns, plans and interest of SCM.

Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal sections, higher management and external entities such service providers, consultants, local & government authorities, customers etc with highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by ORPIC are delivered in the most effective manner.

Develop risk management plan and implement risk mitigation steps in order to protect the interest of ORPIC in the area of SCM.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in with 5-7 years experience or
Masters Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
