Senior Lighting Engineer

KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Working within KEO’s Infrastructure Division as a Senior Lighting Engineer you will provide highway and road lighting design engineering expertise on single and multidisciplinary projects. You will be part of a growing team delivering some of the most prestigious highway projects across the Gulf Region.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

• Significant knowledge and experience in electrical, communication and power designs (transmission, distribution, LV and HV) with a sound technical background in street lighting.
• Proven ability in the supervision and management of a team with regard to all aspects of Concept, Preliminary and Final Design stages, including single line diagrams, panel schedules, electrical schematics and communication plans.
• Knowledge of electrical installation including substation, power, lighting, cabling, wiring and grounding and an understanding of installation specifications and ability to conduct demand load calculations.
• Capability to review design documents, provide technical guidance and support where required, assisting and contributing to relevant stakeholders, consultants, project managers, clients and contractors.

Requirements

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university plus a Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer (PE) registration or other similar professional organisation. Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in the construction and supervision of lighting networks for highway projects.

Previous experience gained within a Consultancy would be beneficial, whilst prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous.
