Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading industrial manufacturing business across the Middle East.

They are looking for a Senior Logistics Manager to both develop and lead their logistics function and implement operating plans across the Middle East.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director the Senior Logistics Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the companies logistics function.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Assuring timely arrival of raw materials and timely dispatch of finished goods.Make sure that customers are fully satisfied by timely and accurate materials dispatch.
- Streamline administrative procedures to reduce discrepancies of materials’ dispatch.
- Handle logistics, import, export, clearance issues and discrepancies.
Monitor the key performance indicators on a regular basis.
- Negotiate transportation deals with logistics companies.
- Identify and develop potential logistics companies and relevant service providers.
Maintain healthy relations with distributors and service providers.
- Process all inbound, outbound and sales dispatch activities on a group level.
- Ensure maximum utilization of transport units.

Requirements

The successful candidate should poses the following skills, attributes and qualifications:

B. Degree.
Certification in CIPS, CPP or CSCP is preferred.
An MBA qualification from an accredited and reputable institution is advantageous
Fluency required in reading, writing and speaking English and Arabic
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
Excellent computer skills.
Preferably based in Jeddah.
MUST BE SAUDI NATIONAL OR HOLD A TRANSFERABLE IQAMA.
