Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Provide vital inputs to the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre and the Convention Hotel.
- To advise and assist all members of the team in discharging effective and efficient technical services on all outputs required.
- Coordinate the activities of the various contractors and consultants in order to ensure OMRANs MEP standards are met from the concept phases through to final development stages.
- Analyze schematics and determine if the MEP requirements are being met to ensure functionality, fit for purpose & cost effective for the facility to be developed.
- Ensure compliance with the design procedures on aspects of design inputs, changes, review, verification & validation that affect design development.
- Check and ensure Project Quality Plan and quality management system/procedures are complied with.
- Review and approve/disapprove the procurement functions carried out by contractors as per the requirements of OMRAN.
- Conduct regular site visits during construction and prepare weekly report to ensure that all planned schematics are materialized accordingly.

Requirements

- An Internationally recognized Engineering Qualification (Bachelor degree, Diploma, or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, with previous experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Site experience in the Construction Supervision of at least one project.
