Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor with a thorough background in Building/Infrastructure construction to join one of our largest healthcare projects in KSA. This position will oversee full QS Administration, from budgets to variations through to final accounts. The position will be reporting to Project Commercial Manger.

Job responsibilities include:
- Recording and monitoring of all site activities and costs being expended on the project.
- Preparation and summaries of all measured works.
- Maintain a schedule of submissions and responses, for approvals, inspections, variations, etc.
- Prepare take offs from drawings and compare with site measurements.
- Preparation of Interim Valuations and Final Account .
- Preparation of MEP Tender documents including pricing .
- Tabulation of Price Comparison and Cost Summary.
- Reconciliation of materials and works executed during the month.
- Preparation of Sub Contractors payments and recording / monitoring of all site works.
- Preparation of Monthly Commercial reports in conjunction with PM and site team.
- Maintain all MEP QS documents and logs / registers applicable.

Requirements

- Minimum 8 years of experience as MEP QS in construction industry.
- Extensive lead quantity surveying experience working across major construction projects.
- Extensive experience working within engineering or project based quantity surveying/estimating environments.
- Ability to successfully manage and supervise a team of Quantity surveyors.
- Should have experience/knowledge of QS related software.
- Strong QS functional skills combined with solid all round project management including a working knowledge of the tender process, contract administration, client / stakeholder management and project delivery.
- Should be able to building professional and productive relationships with consultants, subcontractors and other stake holders.
- Must have a strong commercial acumen and commercial awareness
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Degree level qualification in QS/Civil stream.
- Manages to timeframes, cost conscious, and achievement driven.
