Senior MEP Technical Manager

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Senior MEP Technical Manager to work on a complex building project for a Western contractor in Cairo, Egypt.

Job role:
You hold the knowhow of the MEP part of our construction projects (with up to €90MIO in MEP works) in all its aspects: design, performance, installations and the interaction with other trades;
You coordinate the MEP design and execution between design subcontractors and civil/finishing works with the Architect;
You have an all-round knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works;
You provide the planning input for the MEP works;
You initiate and manage upstream schedule for MEP subcontracts and MEP designs;
You assist in technical coordination meetings with subcontractors and project staff;
You are responsible for the as-built documents and drawings, for the performance tests, the commissioning and hand over, as well as for the snagging and the snagging control;
You audit the MEP subcontractors for validation by project management;
You will report to the Project Manager;

Requirements

Your Profile
Bachelor or Master degree in Electromechanical engineering;
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a similar position and industry of which 8 years as an MEP Manager;
You are fluent in English; Arabic, French are an asset;

You equally possess excellent communication skills, an analytical mind and you are client focused.
