The RoleThe RoleGMASCO enjoys an enviable reputation as the Gulf's most diverse full service communications, marketing and advertising agency in an industry typified by current decline, over-specialisation and lack of integration in other markets. Our Dubai location positions us in a still growing market at the hub of business in the northern hemisphere with a client base operating in more than 15 countries across the Middle East, Europe, the Sub Continent and Asia. Our offerings include every aspect of communications, advertising and marketing in traditional and new media formats. We are looking for MAC Artists to join the Creative Department, and report to the Studio Manager. The role of the MAC Artist is to produce high resolution digital artwork using Apple MAC programmes from production layout and create visuals based on provided client specifications and guidelines. Functions of the role will include: * Working closely with the Creative team to produce creative visuals from concepts provided * Proactively suggesting layout solutions and ideas * Dispatching high resolution files via electronic network * Ensuring all work produced adheres to specified guidelines and agreed deadlines * Liaising with reprographic operators as appropriate. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe following are the pre-requisites to be considered for the role: * A minimum 7 years experience working in a studio environment* Good knowledge of printing techniques and requirements * Competent in digital delivery systems * Good eye for detail, and be able to work on tight deadlines * Fully conversant with core studio programs such as Quarck, In-Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop * Working knowledge of the world wide web to dispatch and store images/data * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Understanding of industry standard proofing devices * Working knowledge of retouching* Flexible attitude. |
