Job description / Role
Reports to Middle East Training Manager and to the country HR Director
Responsibilities:
Own Brand Training
- Create and/or update training material and tools
- Organize in-class training for seasonal launches (3-4/year)
- Organize in-class training for the brand
- Be the ambassador of the brand and participate to events, store animation, etc
- Work closely with the brand management to create look, provide selling tips and advice on product use & link-selling
- Train retail store teams including Beauty Consultants and Specialists
Exclusive Brands Training
- Conduct in-class training for exclusive brands* (*in the case of no local presence) or coordinate for training with local trainer & brand manager
- Organize training convention 2/year for seasonal launches
- Update training material and tools providing by Europe or local Brand Training Team
- Train retail store teams including Beauty Consultants and Specialists
- Receive information on the brand novelties during the TTT 2/year in France
- Coordinate with the coordinator for all the logistics of training activities (flight and hotel bookings, room set up, F&B, training material, etc.)
INSTITUTIONAL MAKE-UP & SKINCARE TRAINING
- In charge of creating and updating training material and tools for all levels and needs for both Make-up & Skincare categories
- In charge of delivering Expert training for both Make-up & Skincare categories in the 5 countries (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar & Bahrain) several times a year, in line with the Training calendar defines with the Training Manager will require travelling
- Work closely with the Regional Trainers for them to deliver Basic & Advanced levels
- Work closely with the Field Trainers & Regional Trainers to keep updated on the business needs and create/update training modules accordingly
Training Projects
- Responsible of Make-up & Skincare competition (Beauty Masters)
- Responsible of grooming projects (training provided to external companies)
Management of Field Trainers
- Ensure Field Trainers are relaying information on own and Exclusive brands in-store
- Understand needs of the field and answer it with adapted training
- Supervise schedule of Field Trainers
- Follow up on Field Trainers performance
Other Tasks
- In-store visit report, in-class training report & monthly activity report
- Follow up on e-learning participation
- Attend TTT 2/year in France
Will require 70% of time IN and 30% of time OUT / 3.5 days IN and 1.5 days OUT / week.
Requirements
- English speaker (Arabic is a +)
- Expert in Make-Up & Skincare
- Minimum 8/10 years experience in training and sales within the beauty industry
- Previous retail experience
- Available to travel in GCC and Europe (mandatory)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
- Extensive knowledge in use of PowerPoint and good knowledge in Excel
- Management ability
- High level of energy, enthusiasm and motivation
