Employment: Full Time

Our client is a major healthcare development based in Qatar. Already operational and offering a wide range of medical solutions, they are strengthening their corporate and seek to hire a senior professional to manage their business office.

This position has overall responsibility for ensuring the efficient and effective performance of the Business Office functions. You would be responsible for maintaining policies and procedures pertaining to Business Office activities.

Duties will include the following:

- Contribute towards the formulation of strategy, annual business plans, policies and procedures of division, to support organizational business strategy.
- Ensure that the Business Office is operating effectively and efficiently toward achieving high operating standards.
- Maintain highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in the provision of services in the Division.
- Oversee implementation of procedures and controls in the division. Ensure that all Business Office activities are in compliance with group's policies and procedures.
- Responsible for meeting set targets and objectives of their Division.
- Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors as and when required.
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationship with the all other related units to achieve the Division’s goals/objectives.
- Keep the Executive Director Planning and Analysis informed of significant issues related to Business Office functions that may jeopardize the achievement of the group's goals.
- Allocate work to employees, nominate for training as per the groups guidelines, conduct performance reviews and manage leave and overtime to ensure efficiency.
- Supervise direct reports in their day-to-day tasks and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback and counseling. Provide recommendations to the Executive Director Planning and Analysis on hiring and promotions.
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
- Oversee and ensure the effective acquisition and management of corporate clients
- Direct and ensure effective credit management including the development of price-list for services/goods provided
- Oversee and ensure effective negotiation with insurance companies
- Direct and ensure the effective handling of the commercial aspect for property management
- Review and approve reports and other outputs of the Business Office Team.
- Coordinate with the respective Business Office personnel for required changes, if any.
- Provide guidance to the Business Office Team.
- Oversee and ensure the effective and efficient accomplishment of the Business Office Team’s other duties.

Requirements

- MUST have Heathcare sector experience
- Candidates must have at least 10 years relevant Finance experience, a substantial part of which should be in a complex organization.
- University degree in Business Administration with specialization in Financial Management, and/ or Accounting / Marketing. Professional Certification such as CPA/ CA/ CFA and/ or CMA is preferable.
