Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Recommend changes to existing assets products to improve specifications and performance.
- In annual basis responsible to design, recommend, develop and implement new competitive lending schemes. Conduct presentations and training program to launch the new scheme.
- Liaise with Corporate Communication & Marketing Department to design marketing and promotion campaign for new lending schemes. Provide support to assets products marketing to develop customer propositions and marketing communications.
- Liaise with branches to design, recommend, develop and implement new competitive assets products. Provide expert advice and assistance on technical issues relating to the modification of assets products.
- Monitoring and tracking assets portfolio performance against business plans and budgets. Develop and generate daily/weekly/monthly assets products MIS reports for AGM Business Banking and Regional/Branch Manager. Cooperate with Retail business units to define and generate special MIS reports required to make business decisions.
- Carry out surveys of customer satisfaction to identify the scope for improvements in assets products quality.
- Carry out regular mystery shopping exercises to ensure that branches maintain an awareness of developments in assets products and schemes, report the result to AGM Business banking and head of product development and liabilities.
- Monitor the assets products performance of competitors to ensure that the bank maintains and develops its competitive position.
- Maintain an awareness of developments in assets products to ensure that the bank maintains and develops its competitive position. Conduct regular training/presentations to improve the awareness level.
- Maintain an awareness of development in fields of assets products marketing and research to ensure that the bank continues to compete effectively. Carry out regular market research and present the result to AGM Business banking and head of product development and liabilities.
- Design, develop and implement new policies and schemes based on the assessed need to promote the use of the Products
- Maintain an awareness of developments in Card business to ensure that the bank maintains and develops its competitive position.
- Monitor the Cards business performance of competitors to ensure that the bank maintains and develops its competitive position.
- Maintain regular contact with the Sales team and Regional/Branch Managers to keep abreast of any developments in Card business.
- Identifies the training and developmental priorities of the department in conjunction with the training department and ensures that staff are adequately skilled to meet the future requirements of the bank.

Requirements

- Omani National preferred
- Should be a Degree holder with relevant / professional experience to the related field.
- Able to maintain / provide product solutions in line with Market requirements.
- Thoroughly understand banks policies and marketing strategies
- Good sales / negotiation and analytical skills
- Must be able to work independently and meet the deadline and target to related work
- Must possess effective communication and listening skills with strong oral and written presentation skills.
- Should be self-motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic
