Job description / Role
Senior Manager Finance,
AED 35,000 to AED 40,000 per month,
Dubai, UAE
Our client is a leading bank in the UAE and they are currently seeking a Senior Finance Manager.
As the Senior Finance Manager you will be Head of the unit within Treasury Finance which is responsible for Middle office and Project activities consisting of 5 team members.
You will be required to manage, monitor and improve Middle Office activities for Global Markets & Treasury Business in compliance with policies and procedures as per the global market practice in order to provide adequate business support and ensure strong control framework.
You will also be responsible for participating and delivering multiple initiatives being business projects, systems change implementations and new products development on behalf of Treasury Finance unit. This requires working in cross function group, thorough awareness of units activities and understanding Treasury systems.
Requirements
Criteria:
Strong accounting knowledge
Must currently reside in the UAE
Detailed knowledge of treasury products and its life cycle events
Understanding on Valuation of Treasury products and market data used for valuations
Keen control aspects across all reconciliation functions
Good analytical & communication skills to be able to liaise with peers across treasury finance, business operations & group finance functions
Interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional working groups
