Charterhouse Partnership are engaged in an exclusive search for a Dubai based group who are looking to strengthen development planning and analysis functions within their Egyptian business.

Our client possesses a leading brand and coverage within their core areas of property development, retail, hospitality and joint ventures. With an increased focus across the regional markets, their current project base in Egypt continues to evolve as they replicate and roll out their brands and developments in the Middle East’s most populous nation.

As the Senior Manager of financial planning and analysis your duties will include:

Undertaking the assessment of post completion analysis for all projects across Egypt.

Developing complex models for investment analysis.

Undertaking financial scenarios, sensitivity analysis and presentations in support of short term and long term CAPEX budget requests.

Preparing forecast financial statements for pipeline projects for budgets and strategic plans.

Undertaking preparation of project and business information packs for banks, including forecast financial statements, levered cash flows and covenants calculation which form the basis of requesting external funding.

Supporting the information requirements of project feasibilities to determine the financial viability of development projects.

Conducting scenario testing and sensitivity analysis for risk management purposes.

Performing independently in house project financial due diligence and benchmarking.

Validating and reviewing reasonableness of key project assumptions including internal and external benchmarking for all project investment analysis requiring board sign off and to submit findings and interpretations.

Undertaking high level key performance indicator reporting mechanisms of “financial measures” and “non financial measures”.

Ensuring compliance with the applicable investment appraisal policies and procedures.

Requirements

Our client are looking to recruit a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA), with a minimum of five years experience within an analytical and feasibility based reporting and control role. The successful candidate will have a thorough and in depth knowledge of real estate and development within either the Egyptian or MENA markets.

This role will pivot upon strong investment analysis and financial modeling skills allowing the introduction of strong and accurate MIS and reporting capabilities across the business and project pipeline. This critical hire shall also demand a solid communication and commercial skill set, to allow for the support of investment appraisals and decision making capabilities at a senior Management level.
