Job description / Role
Leading Bank in Qatar is looking for an experienced Senior Information Security and Network Administrator to manage and oversee the administration of the Information Security and Network environment. This role will report into Head of IT.
Requirements
- Administer and monitor the banks network using CISCO switch, core switch, routers.
- Administer and monitor firewalls, load balancers and reverse proxy ( Cisco ASA , Sophos UTM , F5)
- Administer and control the bank's IT security policies regarding applications, internet, email, VPN, LAN and WAN and physical access to IT equipment/s
- Manage telecom solutions utilizing our networks such as IP telephony, video conferencing (LYNC) and fax solution.
- Administer and monitor all the telecommunication lines, leased IP VPN, PRI, internet ADSL and Fax solution
- Administer and monitor remote logins to the bank via two factor authentication device.
- Install local area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals and wiring
- Help system admin and helpdesk to solve and troubleshoots all IT issues whenever necessary
- Provide access to new computer users and update access rights for existing systems
- Monitor systems access via audit trails, access logs or online monitors and ensure that only authorized users can access the system
- Assessing and testing new tools and technologies
- Perform other duties of a comparable level as assigned
- Manage Microsoft security solutions like (RMS, PKI, Bitlocker, FIM, server and client hardening)
- work with the ISO to ensure that all systems are implemented with the required security baseline and to ensure that all ISO requirements are fulfilled.
- Ensure that all systems are patched against the latest threats.
- Maintain the bank mobile devices with the latest security best practices
