Employment: Full Time

Purpose:

The Senior Manager, Investor Relations’ main mission is to execute the IR strategy, operating plans, budget and global programmes. To educate and update investors and security analysts in relation to the company on a global basis in order to achieve a fair relative stock price. The programme itself must be executed in such a way as to accurately represent and reflect the company at all times.

Role Accountabilities

• Acts as a focal point in the company for all investors/debtors in order to facilitate exchange of information:
o Manages the flow of financial and other information between the corporation, its shareholders and the financial community.
o Maintain continuous communication and effectively address all questions / concerns in order to maintain the company’s profile within the market.
o Manages Debt Capital Market IR programme
o Manages Rating Agency relationships
• Inputs into the overall Investor Relations Strategy and implementation plan in line with company requirements and supports the development of and inputs into Group IR annual budget
• Implement and undertake all Investor Relations activities for the organization, ensuring that all investors are kept abreast of activities/progress/achievements within the company through:
o Investor conferences, inbound queries, road-shows, Doha bus tours, conference calls etc.
o Overseeing and managing the annual Group Investor Relations Forum and annual Group Capital Markets Day
• Develop, implement and manage the IR digital media strategy for the company’s IR. This includes the IR website and other digital and social media (e.g. IR twitter account)
•Develop appropriate tools and manage internal IR related communication to the group management and staff.
• Support the treasury team for all fixed income IR related issues (new bond documentation, marketing, allocation models, etc.)
• Develop and coordinate Group operating companies the Group Annual Report content and Group-level content in conjunction with Finance and the CEO’s office; support operating company’s Annual Report/AGM process as required
• Work with Group PR to drive profile building of company in both media and investor community; ensure consistency of messaging across PR, IR and Internal Communications
• Scope, oversee and supervise deliverables from external supporting agencies, such as financial PR agency and other service providers who provide content and or data to the Investor Relations team
• Develop and maintain a ‘High-Level’ library of key learning’s and findings; obtain feedback from buy and sell-side
• Prepare additional job-related ad-hoc reports, presentations and analyses as requested by management
• Support special projects as required: Group level corporate action, operating company corporate action and IPOs, debt capital market activity

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years exp, with around 5 years in a similar role in managerial capacity ideally within Telecoms.
• Knowledge of telecommunication analytics.
• Sound understanding of International Stock Markets and their requirements
• Proven demonstrable experience in managing Investor Relations in a multi operations business
• An in-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets
• A good understanding of strategic communication, public relations, marketing, advertising and the media
• Experience in developing & disseminating Annual Reports
• Knowledge of and experience in Capital Markets Financial Media management
• Proven ability to build strong relations across analysts/financial media/stock market representatives etc.
• Vocational certification such as Certified Practitioner of Investor Relations (CPIR)/ Certificate in IR. Or similar would be an advantage
