Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The position is based out of Dubai, candidate will be part of Talent Management Team under Human Resources, primarily functions will include:
- Sets, implements and monitors the training and development plans/strategy in line with Etisalat strategic goals and within the assigned budget.
- Conducts skill gap analysis for the current skill sets of Etisalat staff and identifies future needs in line with business plans/strategies and in close coordination with the functional/sections- heads.
- Recommends training programs and advises Etisalat sections on training options

Duties & Responsibilities :
- Sets, implements and monitors the training and development plans and strategy in alignment with Etisalat strategic goals and within the assigned budget.
- Develops and executes training curriculum to build the necessary skills within all Etisalat functional areas.
- Develops customised training solutions to suit the unique requirements raised by line managers or resulting from current
- Training Programs reviews and training needs assessments /Analysis.
- Analyzes and compiles current skill set of Etisalat staff within its functional area; either technical or commercial.
- Studies business plans/ strategies of Etisalat and related subsidiaries in order to frame and prioritize relevant courses for Etisalat personnel.
- Compares current skill set with future requirements in order to deduce potential development gaps and design fitting training programs.
- Monitors industry trends such as technological developments in order to maintain a contemporary Learning Portfolio.
- Manages the design and implementation of orientation and induction training program for all new staff.
- Ensures the effective and efficient update of available training programs in the LNS/Oracle system and follows up on nominations.
- Manages/Coordinates with different functional sections on nominations of respective staff to ensure achieving targeted skill set.
- Manages, monitors and evaluates the sections on-going performance and quality of its output and services.
- Provides clear direction, sets targets, prioritizes tasks and assigns responsibilities for the Training, Planning and Counseling team.
- Oversees the timely issuance and recording of attained course certifications to respective attendees.
- Analyzes the ROI of training programs offered on a regular interval and prepares reports to management.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Business, HR or Public Administration
- Professional Certificate in Instructional System Delivery & Design or Equivalent.
- Degree in HR / Training & Development or evidence of exposure to latest thinking in the field of L&D.
- 5-6 years of experience in Learning & Development (L&D) with a blue-chip organization, ideally in a telecommunications environment.
