Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose:
To support the Unsecured Head, MENAP and the ownership of the SCB Credit Card product suite for MENAP (excluding UAE), complying with internal and external regulations, processes, the overall product P&L.

The Product Head, Credit Cards will assist the Unsecured Head to maximise the profitability of the Credit Cards business with the Credit Card portfolio team.

Additionally, to work with various internal stakeholders to ensure the banks objectives are met, maximize profitability and ensure successful marketing of the product in the market

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Credit Card product suite for the MENAP (excluding UAE)
- Manage in-life product performance: P&L and sales whilst conducting extensive numerical analysis
- Ensure that the Portfolio operates within Bank Operational risk parameters including product audits and compliance
- Manage the alliances and rewards cross product platform
- Identify and present innovative and creative product solutions.
- Project management of all product integration/launches/changes throughout implementation
- Identify business and operational requirements based upon the business requirements & objectives
- High level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products
- Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal stakeholders including credit risk; sales; marketing; operations; compliance; service quality; operational risk; all frontline staff; retail product teams
- Adhere to internal and external regulations
- Develop relationships with external stakeholders to ensure the development of the Credit Card product
- Lead the development, approval, training, and communication of new products/product changes and their associated customer, operational, system, & process impacts to the various internal organizations
- Oversight and liaison with credit risk on credit policy and acquisition strategy
- Develop & conduct specialised training on new products launched and raise awareness & application of relevant subject matter. Additionally, refresher trainings to ensure the product is understood by all stakeholders
- Monitor internal processes for efficiency and validity pre & post product launch/changes
- Provide support and represent Credit Cards for other departmental projects when required
- To meet/exceed and maintain service levels
- Represent Credit Cards team in stakeholder meetings whilst keeping the interest of the Credit Card business at the forefront
- Cost accruals, invoicing and billing
- Develop a marketing strategy with the marketing team to ensure objectives and interests of the Credit Card team are met
- Continually reviewing existing product range, processes and sales channels to ensure SCB Credit Cards are aligned to our desired target segments
- Monitoring of the local competition and overseas markets to ensure product parity and opportunities and threats are identified
- Accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting
- Manage various administrative tasks of the department

Requirements

- Sound understanding of Credit Card product management, sales, marketing, regulatory requirements, process re-engineering and credit risk management
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Advanced spreadsheet and numerical analysis skills
- Ability to write and deliver training courses and materials
