Employment: Full Time

Our client, a large reputable group with western management is currently recruiting a Senior Manager Reporting. This is a newly created position and you would be reporting to the Group FC.

The Senior Manager Reporting role is the primary owner of the end-to-end Reporting process with the overall goal of delivering Record to Report services while ensuring quality and cost effectiveness.

As a member of the Controllership Leadership Team, the Senior Manager Reporting plays a critical role in building the capability and standards of the reporting function and will support its development and sustainability by ensuring service delivery excellence.

Main Responsibilities:
- Accounting and Financial Reporting in accordance with IFRS; management across many legal and operating entities.
- Establish and Lead the Reporting teams and operations across all entities in a KPI driven Shared Service Centre environment.
- Develop and publish weekly / monthly / quarterly key performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and executive management.
- Responsible for our Group General Ledger account structure, usage and associated Group policies.
- Reviewing and analyzing current procedures in order to recommend and implement changes to standardize activities and integrate into shared services.
- Responsible for Intercompany Accounting and Group Consolidation operating models.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with local Legal Entity Statutory reporting requirements.
- Works with treasury, legal, finance and internal audit counterparts to ensure a consistent understanding of purpose, business operations, make-up of financial results, and intercompany arrangements for all of the legal entities that comprise our existing legal entity structure.
- Offer operational support and assistance in Period end close (month end, quarter end &, year end).
- Identify clear objectives for the team, providing coaching, career development and feedback to team members, providing performance evaluation and reward.
- Participate and Lead in cross functional process and system improvement initiatives.
- Lead the maintenance of a strong Controls environment.

Requirements

- Strong acedemical background in Accounting with higher qualification like ACCA , CPA, CA is a must
- 5-8 Years of Leading the Statutory Reporting function in a large MNC for multiple entities, ideally in a shared services center
- Industry experience is a must
- Ideally some exposure to the UAE market
- Working knowledge of large ERP systems ie Oracle, SAP etc
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven experience build a team
- Proven experience meet objectives and delivering results
