Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Key Account & Strategic Projects (KASP) Manager maintains and expands relationships with strategically important large customers while taking the lead on managing the respective pipeline of Strategic Projects. He / She represents the entire range of Building & Industrial Systems products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers needs and expectations are met by the business units.

1. Maintains current and establish new strategic relationship with Key Accounts, by building a productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned Key Accounts.
2. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers expectations.
3. Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
4. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
5. Grow large strategic customers (Key Accounts).
6. Lead & provide guidance/assistance to negotiate, finalize & close Strategic Projects in the assigned area or region.
7. Lead & provide guidance/assistance to achieve growth in revenue, share of segment (SOS) and profitability of Strategic Projects within the region.
8. Lead & support organizing relevant marketing / networking events to promote solutions and strengthen our relations with strategic customers and consultants.
9. Define and promote the Value Proposition per key account / Vertical and support preparing the related marketing material
10. Seek further knowledge and attend training if needed to get familiar with offering and product positioning to be able to lead pitches
11. Update & maintain accurate up to date data on key accounts & strategic projects using the companys CRM tool
12. Organize biweekly business update meetings/calls with respective stakeholders, define and track upcoming agreed actions with ownerships
13. Attend when applicable relevant seminars / exhibitions and report out important market

Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

The client is a large US listed multinational company with an annual revenue of US$65 billion.They are a producer of commercial and building management products and services.

Requirements

- Degree in marketing / or business administration (preferred)
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with 5 years managerial experience.
- Elevators, HVAC, Fire & Security - High experience on any of these systems knowledge, with special emphasis on mega projects.
- High Sales and Negotiation skills & effective in applying high level sales techniques in order to close projects..
- Fluency in spoken and written English a must, Arabic language is an advantage.
- Excellent presentation skills, the candidate will be required to present in front of a high level audience & conduct internal & external training sessions.
- Excellent budgeting skills.
- Effective communications and business writing skills
