The RoleThe RoleOne of my clients, a telecom operator in Afghanistan is looking to hire a Senior Manager with experience in Corporate Strategy. Salary: $72000 / Year (Tax-Free) + Accommodation, medical, 4 Return Flights per year + 42 Days Annual Leave, Class-1 Security, etc, The position entails undertaking project management, analysis, coordination and influencing roles in the strategy team. The focus will be on topics as portfolio strategy, financial planning, future trends, new growth opportunities and competitor analysis. The positions will report directly to the Corporate Strategy Director and require close coordination with the Chief Operating Officer and the other members of the Management Board. |
RequirementsRequirementsManage the short and long term strategic projects. Assist the Director in interpreting all trends that occur within the industry including evaluating market size, competitor accomplishments and industry structures, and to make recommendations to the Management Board to assist in the development of the company's goals Work with department heads, identify business development and growth opportunities. This position will be involved with the Management Office Team on works related to: Supervisory Board: During the course of the year 3-4 supervisory board meetings are organized. This includes but is not limited to: Defining content and positioning of Board papers, organization of the meeting, coordination of the content within the company, ensuring consistency against what has already been communicated to the Shareholders, logistic, etc. Meeting with Stakeholders: Several meetings will occur throughout the year with Shareholders, Bankers, and key stakeholders. Ad-hoc projects: The Manager could be involved on a case-by-case basis on specific projects. |
