Senior Manager of Operational Risk and Internal Control

Job description / Role

Leap29 is currently working with a Leading bank in Saudi Arabia, who are seeking a Senior Manager of Operational Risk and Internal Control, who will strive to recognise, quantify and manage the operational risk of their business.

You will be reporting to the Head of Operational Risk and Internal Control, and will be responsible for executing independent oversight reviews to give assurance that key controls in the first and second line support functions have been designed and are operating effectively. In addition you will be expected to test internal controls to ensure they are in line with SAMA guidelines

Requirements

- A degree in a related field
- 8 or more years of experience including time in operational risk & internal audit or control, and experience in global banking & markets
- Understanding the three lines of defence model
- Strong knowledge with sharia compliant products
- Strong knowledge of the control environment surrounding global banking
