Senior Marketing Executive / Marketing Manager

Job description / Role

Senior Marketing Executive/Marketing Manager required for a leading IT Hardware company to assist the VP of Marketing with marketing initiatives across the region. You will play a key role in ensuring brand equity, managing suppliers, social media channels, developing product training material as well as a host of other key marketing initiatives.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop, managing and drive all social media channels
- Developing Marcoms, POS & assets for corporate and products.
- Conducting Market Research on company product and competitors.
- Create, devise and execute PR and Events strategies
- Oversea web portal, and website management
- Oversea product road map management
- Support development of product presentations and meeting materials on a frequent basis
- Partner closely with product and solution specialist teams to craft a clear advertiser value proposition
- Drive the development, execution, analysis and maintenance of strategic marketing plans from concept development to execution.

Requirements

- Proven product specialist or marketer with a minimum of 2-4 years both offline and online and familiar with ATL & BTL activities
- Strong background in IT/Hardware or Electronics industry, Mobile phone (or othe IT consumer retail product) experience highly advantageous (or Mobile Distribution).
- Must have a minimum of 2-4 years exp in back office marketing/ coordination function.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task.
- Must have exposure to dealing with ad agencies and art work agencies in the GCC region
- Experience of field intelligence, data gathering, KPI monitoring / reporting.
- Must possess knowledge of social media trends, channels and analytics and digital marketing
- Must be exposed to latest technology trends, brands and products.
- Must possess Product Road Map knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of Organized Retail and Independent Channels and POSM requirements.
- Strong Internet focus
- Excellent conversational writing skills in English
- Additional Language skills i.e. Arabic/French - would be highly advantageous.
- High standards of professional conduct with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must be persuasive/influential/persistent and be able to gain trust
- Should have preferably worked for a high performance driven organisation
- Should have desire to keep updated on latest trends and developments in below the line activities in retailing industry
- Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be presentable
