Employment: Full Time

Our client a leading events organization seeking a Senior Marketing Manager who is a UAE National to work to assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of first-rate marketing campaigns for corporate events. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver the event according to plan. The Senior Marketing Manager will also define objectives, monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators and oversee quality control and compliance through process throughout event life cycle. The Senior Marketing Manager will essentially support the Vice President in fostering a culture of learning and mentorship within the team.

Reporting relationship:
- Accountable to Vice President Marketing and Communications
- Straight line reporting to Vice President Marketing & Communications and dotted line consultation with projects. Other dotted line reporting as part of a team or individual for specific projects, corporate activities depends on responsibility (research, business development, strategy, etc).

This work will include the responsibility for a wide range of tasks and deliverables relating to marketing for corporate projects/events. The position will be responsible for all marketing activities and might be made accountable for some marketing matters (corporate and events). In addition, the Marketing Manager will be consulted and informed on a wide range of discussions from departments and third parties. The Marketing Manager will be a signatory for some activities.

Responsibilities:
- Establish final creative concepts, marketing, branding and communication plans, including any adaptations for each project.
- Define marketing scope, goals and deliverables that support event requirements in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Liaise with marketing stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve marketing goals.
- Manage campaign plan( Media, Digital, print production).
- Manage preparation of internal and external presentations related to marketing.
- Responsible for developing a detailed and comprehensive marketing plan with associated communications documents for the project/event including detailed work breakdown structures addressing ticket pricing, timelines, deliverables, venue analysis, budgets, resource allocation, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, marketing, risk assessment, etc.
- If required, seek the assistance of Talent Management and Projects in the organization of artist appearances, sponsors/artist meet and greets and other promotional activity that incorporates company executives and/or artist appearances for each project.
- Successfully define and quantify tasks and deliver on time and to quality requirements.
- Work with Operations department to deliver event beautification plan, on time and on budget.
- Manage and liaise with media partners and negotiate new contracts with the aim to reduce cost and increase media value impact.

Requirements

- 8 - 10 years of experience in the marketing industry as executive or manager
- UAE National with a valid family book only
- Experience with Budget forecasting and tracking.
- Experience managing multiple vendors and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent marketing skills and in-depth understanding of event industry.
- Working in a matrix environment requires a strong communicator with excellent influencing, negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Motivate and manage the people on the project to deliver on time, budget and at the required standard of quality
- Skilled in coordinating flow of information and communication between staff, consultants and senior management, with the ability to effectively manage time and work to meet deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills (including the ability to draft understandable, clear and consistent documents on topics within the areas of responsibility)
- Will have a high degree of integrity and a high sense of personal and professional ethics.
- Ability to consider and advice on the consequences of various courses of action, including an understanding of the repercussions on other activities.
-Ability to engender confidence of management and exercise good judgment in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, organize priorities and meet deadlines.
- Detailed attention to quality of deliverables.
- Desire and ability to demonstrated initiative.
- Strong attention to detail, by being thorough and responsible.
- Ability to proofread and review accurately (prepare and review copies, marketing collateral, contracts, etc).
- Excellent process skills, analyze and standardize workflows.
- Sound management and, well developed quantitative analysis and modeling skills.
