Job description / Role
Reporting to the Resident Engineer(s).
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Review Contractor submittals (material, test results, test reports)
- Periodically witness tests at the independent lab.
- Assist the Resident Engineers on technical issues.
- Perform statistical analysis on the test results and report to SRE/REs.
- Manage his sub coordinates in relation with REs.
- Provide technical information to fellow colleagues as part of the continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Shall be qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.
- Minimum fifteen (15) years of relevant experience and qualification in Materials and Quality Control in major highway projects. He/She must possess the ability to read and enforce working drawings and related specifications.
- Computer literacy and excellent communication skills are a must.
