The Role

A Senior Material and Corrosion Engineer is urgently required to join a leading petrochemical company in Saudi Arabia who manufacturers and markets various petrochemical products to a wide customer base, through its various affiliates.

Being primarily involved in providing MOC Support to routine maintenance, shutdowns and project initiatives the Senior Material and Corrosion Engineer will also study corrosion cases and advise on control measures.

Acting as the focal point with Consultant on material and corrosion subjects the Senior Material and Corrosion Engineer will also suggest alternative materials and up gradation of existing materials.

In addition to prior mentioned key requirements, ideal applicants must be self-motivated, flexible, delivery focussed and have a ‘can do’ positive attitude.

Requirements


Requirements

Interested candidates will ideally have a minimum 10 years of experience in material and corrosion within manufacturing in the refining or petrochemical industry. Will also hold a Materials, Chemical, Mechanical Engineer or B.S. in Chemistry as well as Recognition by an International Organization (Certification).

Knowledge of material properties and its selection for specific environments is required and being a member of industry related associations, committees, etc would be an added advantage.
