Job description / Role
Our client is an engineering consultancy specializing in energy sector including oil and gas industry. Currently, due to expansion of their business in Romania, the company is looking for candidates with oil and gas experience to join Bucharest office.
Responsibilities:
Mechanical Engineer (Materials/ Cathodic protection) to work on FEED and detail design projects related to OIL& GAS plants (such as gathering system, Gas Oil Separation Plant) and relevant utilities systems.
Specific duties:
- material selection study, corrosion evaluation and wall thickness sizing for pipe and vessels.
- preparation of Specification and Data Sheet for valves, piping and fitting and pressure vessels,
- preparation of technical bid evaluation and vendor follow up (pre-order and post order).
- witness Factory and Site Acceptance Test of above mentioned equipment and material.
- interface with other project discipline leaders and sometimes (if required) with Client representatives.
Salary: 1700- 1800 EUR/month (net)
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in:
- material selection studies, corrosion evaluation and wall thickness sizing for pipe and vessels.
- preparation of Specification and Data Sheet for valves, piping and fitting and pressure vessels, as well as preparation of technical bid evaluation and vendor follow up (pre-order and post order).
- witnessing factory and site acceptance tests
English language, written and spoken, is a strict requirement.
