Senior Mechanical Engineer, Tower - Kuwait
Our client is an international practice of integrated consulting engineers with a worldwide reputation for innovation and quality. They are widely acknowledged to be at the leading edge of the construction industry and have contributed to numerous complex and high profile projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to oversea the construction of a high quality tall building project in Kuwait (designed in collaboration with a signature British Architect), leading a small MEP building services engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day mechanical building services design aspects of the project.
- MEP building services engineering resourcing and day to day task allocation for the MEP engineers and inspectors working on the project.
- Managing the workload of MEP engineers and inspectors (including verification of quality)
- Reporting progress to Project Director, to include the any escalations and key engineering issues.
- Communicate directly with client as required
- Create and manage MEP building services engineering project administrative systems - submittals and RFI listings - including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure.
- Liaise and coordinate with the other engineering teams on site
- Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service and site decisions and the objectives of the client are achieved.
Candidate profile:
- CEng MCIBSE or equivalent professional membership
- Middle East region AND OR high rise building experience
- Construction/ Site Supervision experience
