The RoleThe RoleA well-known consultancy has a live requirement for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a major healthcare project in Qatar. Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for assisting in delivery of the mechanical works on time, with budget and to the highest standard. Your role will encompass but not be limited to liaising with the contractor, sub-consultants and local authorities, ensuring response to the necessary construction documentation, monitoring the electrical works for conformance to the contract, reviewing shop drawings and material submittals and responding to RFI's. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo apply for this position you must have a Degree and a minimum of 8 years’ experience, 2 of which will be on a major healthcare or hospital project. Previous Qatar experience is ideal but not essential. A strong technical background with an excellent understanding of specifications as well as an excellent knowledge of mechanical systems and materials are essential. Impeccable written and verbal communication skills are a must. In return you will be rewarded with a highly competitive remuneration package. |
