Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are urgently recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supporting the design team from the Abu Dhabi Office
* Reporting to the Associate Technical Director (ATD)
* Supporting the ATD in the production of fee proposals and other commercial matters
* Production of engineering specifications for tender purpose
* Production of engineering design reports
* Undertaking Mechanical Design of the following systems:
* Chilled Water Plant and Networks
* HVAC Systems, strategies and performance
* Boiler plant and network; low energy building design
* Providing leadership and technical advise to engineers
* Coordinating with other design disciplines for design integrity
* Reviewing projects to the requirements of Hyder QA procedures
* Acting as a Project Manager on selected projects
* Acting as discipline lead on selected projects
* Supporting with authority liaison & project approvals (DM/ADM/Civil Defense)

Requirements

* Relevant Engineering degree and professional services background
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to think in an innovative and entrepreneurial manner
* Minimum of 10 years' post graduate experience
* Proficient in Autocad MEP (Revit MEP would be an advantage)
* Proficient in use of mechanical design software (either Hevacomp, EDSL TAS, IES VE or Elite)
* Knowledge of British Standards
* Knowledge of HVAC Design
