Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity exists within a leading international consultancy for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team. You will be working on multi-million $USD healthcare/hospitals projects in Doha, Qatar.
The company provides innovative and progressive design solutions to clients across the healthcare sector and they are keen to hire an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer. Who will be client facing with a capacity for design. Reporting to the Head of Department your role will encompass but not be limited to:
Managing multi-disciplined teams to deliver complex designs to the highest of international standards
Prepare project initiation, planning documents and project management plans
Lead and control design activities from design development, compliance, value engineering etc.
Coordination with the Client, local authorities and the project management company
Ensuring design and technical excellence throughout
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must have a BA/MSc in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline, ideally be charted, and have 10+ years of relevant experience. Previous consultancy based experience and an understanding of international building codes is a must. This position would suit a dynamic, client focused, personable and technically strong Mechanical Engineer with previous people, project and client management experience.
