Job description / Role
My client has an immediate need for a British Senior Mechanical Engineer (Healthcare) with proven design skills, an understanding of Engineering practice and a minimum of 10 to 15 years post qualification experience. They need someone with a mature understanding of Engineering principals, a strong interest in the Engineering side of medical Masterplanning, client care, business development, and a desire to be involved in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have more than 10 years of experience working within an International Design Firm, with a focus on Healthcare Building Services Design and Project Management in the UK. You will have a Mechanical Engineering Degree, Licensure as a Pr. Eng., P.E., or International equivalent, LEED, PMP, or similar green building certification, working knowledge of Revit, Energy Simulation Programs and MS Office. Demonstrated Proficiency with British Standards Codes and guidelines is very desirable and knowledge of ASHRAE, CSA, CIBSE, European Standards and other International healthcare guidelines would be beneficial. You must have an understanding of multidisciplinary coordination through design and the construction process.
