Job description / Role

Due to continued expansion and growth, we are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who will be based in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
Preparing designs from concept feasibility through to detail together with technical specifications
Technically leading teams to deliver solutions including preparation of drawings, hand calculations and finite element analysis
Providing technical support and guidance to other engineers
Producing engineering drawings and calculations and checking work of others
Working with clients at all levels
Actively engaging with clients to deliver projects and develop our technical relationship with them
Presenting design concepts and solutions
Developing fully- costed proposals to win new work
Ensuring that projects are delivered to time, cost and quality

Requirements
Education and Skills
•At least 10 years proven experience in a similar role within the upstream sector
•Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
•Significant experience of delivering solutions to technical problems
•In-depth understanding of engineering principles
•Experience of translating specifications into solutions
•Ability to demonstrate experience across the design lifecycle
Desirable
•CEng MIMechE
•Experience of technically mentoring and developing less experienced staff
•Experience of leading an engineering team to deliver projects
