MSD remit covers Data Centers Operations, Servers & Storage, Networks (Voice and Data), Workplace Systems & Services, Service Delivery (including Service Desk) and Security. The end to end services provided to the group companies include consulting, design, deployment and support of the above for a range of business applications which includes ERP, Messaging and Retail Solutions etc.We are looking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer, based in Dubai, reporting to the Network Operations Manager. The purpose of this role is to  manage the core network infrastructure efficiently to ensure high availability, scalability and security. Responsibilities * Contributing to the overall success of our enterprise by supporting our enterprise network infrastructure.* Architecting and implementing highly available network solutions across several locations including data, voice and wireless.* Plan, configure and oversee the implementation of the network infrastructure in co-ordination with users, customers, principals, service provides, business partners and hardware / software vendors to ensure implementation meets design parameters with minimal disruption to the business.* Installing, configuring and maintaining enterprise level network hardware and applications* Performing network maintenance outside of business hours, following the company's change management and operational procedures* Provide level 3 support and speedy resolution for problems escalated by service desk, support engineers & system administrators.* Troubleshoot and provide solution in a timely manner for complex multi-vendor network issues in LAN and WAN networks including Voice, Wireless and various routing protocols.* Provide support for project implementation.* Keep abreast of networking technologies and tools, evaluate and recommend for incorporating into Group network. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe Ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience -Â Â * 6+ years of experience in Converged Enterprise Network Design, Implementation and Support.* Good knowledge in Voice & IP Telephony, Wireless, Security, Routers, Switches, Firewall & Network Management Software. (Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Juniper, HP experience)* Must be an expert in two or more of the following-VOIP /Wireless / Security/ Routing/ Switching* Must have full network lifecycle experience including gathering requirements, design, test, documentation, configuration and maintenance.* Must be able to work occasional weekends and after office hours.* Strong problem-solving skills* Highly motivated and strong team player with excellent communication skills.* CCNP or Equivalent certification is a MUST.* CCIEÂ / CISSP will have high preference.* Degree or Diploma holder in Telecommunication, Computer Science or related discipline.* UAE Driving License |
