The RoleThe RoleYou will be responsible for the logical and physical design of Nawras Network - and IT telecommunication system using the latest approved technologies. You will also be responsible for network strategy, consulting with Qtel/Qtel International, Board and EXCO to ensure implementations meet or exceed networking standards. You will be the interface with Business management, Network- and IT management teams to determine the project scope and timing requirements. You will also be the interface with Finance management to determine CAPex and Opex drivers. You will act as the Project Manager for major corporate initiatives, being responsible for overall project plans and status reporting, providing high-level technical support, coordinating the efforts of multiple activities in developing and implementing standard designs, support processes, and strategies. You will be responsible for the overall design of the network as well as the submission of necessary change controls to implement approved designs in addition to leading Joint Venture, Acquisitions and Network related activities. |
RequirementsRequirementsYou should be a Bachelor's degree holder in Engineering/Telecommunication; with at least 5 years of experience in telecommunication networks for mobile and fixed operations. You will possess extensive knowledge of radio and core network planning principles, IT planning principles, and have excellent communication skills. You will also have knowledge of basic planning tools, Microsoft Office suite of applications, Microsoft Project and Visio. You will have strong project management skills ,as well as structural and process skills. Working knowledge of eTOM and ITIL is desired. |
