The RoleThe Role-Supervise patient care in an assigned medical unit -Supervise junior nurses, provide mentoring, motivate the staff and delegate authority. -Assist physicians with medical procedures, direct patient care, ensure patients’ privacy and comfort, chart patients’ progress and often act as liaisons between doctors and patients’ family members. -Supervise the discharge of patients, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. -Conduct training for junior members and write work performance evaluations. |
