Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Functions as the primary liaison between the HR Business unit and the IT developer group to ensure HR stakeholders’ requirements are understood and delivered to meet HR business needs
• Coordinates daily HRMS operations and serves as the first point of contact for user system queries, training and technical assistance
• Identifies and recommends opportunities to further enhance system functionality
• Coordinates various HRMS enhancement projects and delivers within established deadlines
• Organizes system testing to ensure upgrades, applications and other developments are fully operational upon implementation
• Contributes to the development of business system processes and relevant HRMS policies and procedures as required
• Develops and maintains functional specifications, including reference materials and manuals, to assist HRMS end users
• Develops and monitors HRIS reporting, usage and performance
• Travels to attend meetings, workshops and conferences as required
• Develops an awareness of and respect for the customs and cultures
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

• A minimum 3 years of experience within an integrated HRMS system with capability in an ERP environment, preferably with experience in Banner/Oracle databases
• PL/SQL programming knowledge and demonstrated competency with desktop client database reporting tools is required
• Experience within business process re-engineering or analysis would be advantageous
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization
• Highly developed organizational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
• The ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-cultural environment
• A demonstrated willingness to engage in professional development activities in order to develop and improve new and current skills, and to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization
• The ability to manage information of a confidential and/or sensitive nature
