Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1. Implement and maintain supplier performance management
2. Update and maintain effective supplier master data.
3. Market intelligence by gathering data, conducting market research, benchmarking and identifying potential suppliers and assessing suppliers capabilities.
4. Maintain relationships with potential and existing suppliers, such as coordinating suppliers presentations and conference calls, and obtain purchasing reports from diversity suppliers.
5. Coordinates with key departments and drive the supplier management discipline and supplier performance appraisal to ensure supplier performance is understood and managed appropriately
6. Ensure effective logistics operation, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries
7. Establish proper PCI communication for all stakeholder, internal customers, suppliers & SME
8. Leadership direction, decisions and personal work that result in:
9. Highly effective, efficient, and apply experience and judgment to deliver desired outcome.
10. Search and develop for new suppliers.
11. Ensure effective processes and procedures documents related to markets & logistics
12. Guide and train fellow officers

Requirements

Education
- A university Bachelors degree or equivalent of extensive experience in relevant role
- Education or qualification in procurement or business administration is an advantage

Technical and Business
- 2 years of relevant experience in supplier performance management
- Demonstrated understanding of best practises, local regulations
- Must have ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to handle various assignments simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Demonstrate good analytical ability.

Leadership and Interpersonal
- Demonstrated non-authoritative ability to influence peers and senior managers
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain supplier relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation
- Strong self-awareness of personal strengths, development needs and impact on others
