The RoleThe RoleTo manage the following in the allocated departments with the support of the Head of Operational Risk Management: • Implement operational risk management framework components and system • Provide guidance and support in interpretation of operational risk management policy and procedures. • Manage Operational Risk Management System. To assist in operational risk reporting to business management, senior management, MRCC and BRCC. Main Tasks and Responsibilities • Completion control tests as per plan • Collection and analysis of key indicators • Quarterly operational risk capital calculation • System training • Development of BIA/BCP and completion of BCP tests as per plan • Guidance and support provided to BORMs in control testing/BIA/BCP • Interpretation of policy and guidance on day-to-day operational risk issues • Resolution of BCP related issues • Assistance provided to BORMs in framework implementation. • Timely completion of Control tests • Timely completion of BCP Tests • Corrective action plan implementation • Timely reporting to appropriate levels of management • Implement RCSA process and ensure regular review and as per plan. • Implement loss data collection process to ensure timely, accurate and reliable reporting of loss data. • Analyze material losses and assist in preparation of lessons learnt. • Develop KIs and establish a process for monthly reporting and analysis of KI data. • Carry out control testing as per plan and ensure timely submission of results. • Assist in development of regular ORM reports for business management and senior management. • Present ORM issues and reports to business management and senior management as required. • Develop and implement detailed procedures for assigned components of the ORM framework. • Conduct training on ORM system. • Provide oversight on the day-to-day operational risk activities carried out by the BORMs. • Assist in development of regular ORM reports for business management and senior management. • Ensure satisfactory audit rating. |
RequirementsRequirementsMinimum Education Level Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration Professional Qualification FRM / CFA / MBA or equivalent is preferable Experience • 3 - 4 years banking experience with 2 years in Operational Risk / Controls • Good communication skills • Attention to detail • Good analytical skills • Basel II knowledge is considered as advantageous |
