Job description / Role
To be suitable for this role you must be have excellent communication skills in English and Arabic - you must have the ability to translate in English and Arabic. It is expected that you will have previous experience working for a marketing/PR agency or a shared services environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Senior PR manager with the development of the PR strategy and calendar by researching, evaluating and providing recommendations on past and upcoming PR related activities.
Furthermore you will liaise closely with the PR agency on day to day activities ensuring all PR activities follow the approval process and proactively maintain relationships with traditional media (e.g. journalists and their publications) and new media (e.g. influential bloggers, Twitters, etc.).

Requirements
Skills & Experience:
* Graduate in Marketing or Communication or in any related field (journalism, public relations, media etc.)
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, public relations communications function - ideally within a PR agency
* Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
* Ability to translate and speak in English and Arabic
